Corporate Relocation-What to move?
A few years back at a Fortune 500 corporation, they were moving an newly hired executive from his home in Connecticut to his new position in St. Louis. When the wife came to St. Louis on a house hunting trip the only acceptable home had a yard where the soil was hard packed clay.
The executive then negotiated with the corporation to have the movers move his garden from the Connecticut home to his new St. Louis home. A total of over 6000lbs of dirt. Of course the executive claimed the dirt was finely tuned top soil that was necessary for his wife’s prized roses.
So when you’re involved in a corporate move apparently anything and everything is fair game for the moving van.
